Amongst other new work will be this piece ‘Cappadocia Cave Dwelling’ 103 x44cm Mixed Media. This is a piece recently finished but harks back to strong memories and inspiration of time spent working at a art residency in a cave complex in Cappadocia central Turkey. This is an area of bizarre rock formations, underground cities and weird and wonderful stories. This piece has almost been sculpted and is a type of relief painting, layers carved into, added to and then softened and sanded.
