The plan had been for a two week trip exploring the Alps and catching up with friends and family in early March France. As we set off we had some some trepidation about if this was a good idea or not with Corona Virus starting to make the headlines but still with large sporting and social events taking place we set off… well prepared. With the the news becoming more ominous visiting friends went off the menu and it turned into a dash make it to stay with family as a lockdown was quickly (and efficiently) put in place.
