This mixed media piece ‘Coffee Ripples on the Golden Temple’ was auctioned and displayed at Sothebys in Bond Street London and ALL proceeds go to the Charity ‘AT the Bus’. Other artist in the exhibition include Grayson Perry and Jenny Saville. The piece is loosely based on a dreamlike version of the sacred Golden Temple surrounded by a lake in Amaritsa. It is made with a combination of coffee and acrylics on paper. The people visiting almost merge into the lake as reflections. The piece raised over £500 for the charity.
AT The Bus offers a school-based programme of art as therapy to support the education, health and wellbeing of children and young people aged 5-16 in Oxfordshire and London. For more info about this brilliant initiative head to At The Bus website
